Press Release:

Written the morning after a humiliating night at a salsa club, Never Dancing Salsa Again, the debut single from Berlin based songwriter Forgettable, is a tribute to those of us who live with the burden of being born with two left feet that also have friends who like to go out dancing.

It started with a run-in with the local mafia, a fight, a falling out and a reconciliation that took place many years later. Terrible in the moment. But it all worked out in the end.

The name of this project is ‘Forgettable’. A working title that somehow stuck. A name that sets the bar so low, you might even be pleasantly surprised. Because in the end, with enough time, aren’t we all eventually forgettable?

Recorded in Berlin at LA Recordings using unusual gear from the DDR and the odd borrowed synth from a member of Stereolab next door, the song forms part of the upcoming album ‘Thank You for your Patience and Understanding’ that is due to be released in the Spring of 2027.
